No matter which equipment utilised, if you are not working in the right environment it will be hard and   almost impossible to obtain a quality product. The acoustic treatment in a recording studio, often overlooked, is equal if not more important than the equipment setup. That's why here at A.P. Studios particular attention has been paid to the above matter. All the rooms have received state of art acoustic treatment and design using an extensive array of absorbers, reflectors and diffusers required to achieve a natural and transparent mixing and recording environment.

The control room has been treated with top of the range Membrane Bass Traps, high density absorption panels and Quadratic Residue Fractal diffusers in order to get the right balance between live and dead sound. Particular attention was given to the live room which has been treated with the same care of the control room but designed to get a more open-live sound but still easy to control with gobo panels.

As you enter the room you will suddenly notice the vibrant ambience enhanced by the colours and the wooden floor, which is also perfect for miking drums, and acoustic instruments. Special BBC design
Quadratic Diffusers have been installed on the ceiling which combined with a Quadratic Residue Fractal diffuser mounted on the back wall make the room sound three times bigger.
The live and control room are separated by a large double window and has been innovatively sound proofed to eliminate any external noise interference.
